Roy L. Williams, J.D., Of Counsel has been affiliated with PLEAS WILLIAMS, LLC since it opened in 2005. Mr. Williams is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, who graduated from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California and earned his law degree from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois.
Since he began practicing in 1998, Attorney Williams has honed his litigation skills in the civil arena having handled a high volume civil practice that has included negotiating settlements, conducting motion hearings, mediations and jury trials. He has experience in representing major corporations as well as individuals in lawsuits involving motor vehicle accidents and other serious injuries.
Prior to becoming a civil trial attorney, Attorney Williams served as a Milwaukee County Assistant District Attorney, providing the foundation for his skills as a trial attorney.
Additionally, Attorney Williams has extensive experience in administrative proceedings. He has previously been a director for Milwaukee County Personnel Review Board as well as the Civil Service Commission. He has served on Brown Deer’s Police Commission, and also as a member of the Brown Deer Planning Commission. These positions have afforded Mr. Williams the opportunity to observe and participate in administrative proceedings as the decision-maker.
